Dear friend,
Thank you so much for taking the time to learn more about us as you make the decision of who will parent your child. We understand that you may be going through mixed emotions right now and we promise to respect your wishes as we navigate this journey together.
We have several close family members and friends who have either been adopted or placed their child for adoption. We have firsthand experience that families are not dictated by genes, and adoption genuinely feels like the right choice to build our family. We are incredibly grateful to have the support of our family and friends who are just as excited as we are to welcome a child into our lives!
We have many diverse opportunities to offer a child, but most of all we promise to provide a stable and supportive family and our unconditional love! We were foster parents for a year and a half and parented a 1, 2, 3 and 12 year old, who we shared many incredible moments with! Rebecca has experience working with youth as a middle and high school counselor, and Jason has experience working with people whom have mental and physical disabilities. With our combined backgrounds, and more importantly our deep desire to nurture a child, we feel confident and prepared for becoming first time parents.
Having an open adoption is something that we are committed to, since we believe every child deserves to understand their roots. For their sake, we hope to maintain communication with you throughout their lives. However, it is also important to us to learn what you are most comfortable with as we move forward.
